How Daydreaming Improves Your Business

by Lisa

Are you taking time to think? Or, are you doing all the time?

Implementation isn’t everything. Surely you won’t get anywhere unless you take action, but if you don’t take time out to think, you are missing huge opportunities.

Do you ever feel like you’re wasting time by daydreaming?

Daydreaming is key to creating a focused and targeted plan. Daydreaming? Sounds crazy, but it’s true.

Daydreaming is a form of brainstorming. Solo style. It’s just you, pen and paper. At your desk or outside. In a coffee shop. Begin with a thought:

I want to streamline my operations.

I want to increase my income by 20%.

I want to reduce my expenses by 25%.

Write down whatever comes to you. Keep writing. Even if it doesn’t make sense at the time. Even if it doesn’t have anything to do with streamlining operations or increasing income or decreasing expenses. Mind map it. Or make a list. Do what works for you.

Time your daydreaming. Do it for 10 minutes a day. Or take an hour each week.

You’ll be amazed at the gems that come from your daydreaming. Put yourself on a daydreaming schedule for a month.

Let me know how it works  for you.
